This program invites you to explore ‘The Birthplace of Japan,’ featuring facilities such as the site of Japan’s first water clock and the earliest full-fledged Buddhist temple, all centered around the theme of time. During the journey, enjoy activities like forest bathing in the National Asuka Historical Park. At Asuka Village’s top scenic spot, ‘Amakashi-no-Oka(Hill),’ experience a special treat of breakfast and freshly roasted coffee in a usually fire-restricted area. The breakfast features a vegan and vegetarian-friendly menu, creatively adapted from the cuisine and ingredients enjoyed by nobles during the Asuka period.
